The head studs are tricky. First tighten them to 16 ft-lbs. Then turn each stud 90 more degrees. Then turn them all another 90 degrees. Here is the pattern:

Intake
______________
9 - 5 - 1 - 4 - 8
10 - 6 - 2 - 3 - 7
______________
Exhaust

I'll have the other specs as soon as my new manual gets here. Hopefully in the next few days.

I'm still looking for the rod bolt and main bearing cap bolt torque specs, anyone out there able to help? My dealership can't find much....

There is one main workshop manual and then 2 smaller supplemental manuals that cover the motor and tranny, respectively. The dealership needs to look in their copy of the supplemental for the motor. I believe the part # for the supplemental is listed on the first page or so of the regular, thick manual.

your dealership has ALL those numbers. thats a lie if they say they dont have them :(

I went and looked through every manual that my dealer had. They don't have the two supplemental manuals covering the tranny or the engine internals. I called several other dealers and they don't have them either. I need the specs for the main bearing caps, rod studs, and the 2 nuts for the gear shafts in the tranny by Wednesday. I ordered the two manuals that I need, but they won't be here in time. Please help!!!! If you happen to go by your dealers or call them...please ask them if they have the specs.

I got the torque specs yesterday for most of the motor. I'm going to start a thread that lists all the major torque specs for the car as soon as I get a chance to get all my notes together. I'm at work right now and I don't have my sheet with me or I would go ahead and post up an abridged version.
