Can anyone clarify if the 99+ mazda 626 v6 front rotors will fit on our car. I heard they will but I just want to know for sure. Reason being is that the rotors are only 35.00 a peice at autozone. Any info would be great!

my rotors are warped really bad and I dont feeling like spending a lot on rotors. Plus my dealership is backordered on the oem rotors.

i'm going to mazda tomorrow so i will have my friend there check the part numbers to see if they are similar at all

mine warped, the stock pads leave deposites on the rotors if they get hot enough. got them rotated and got carbotech bobcats, got them as hot or hotter then i did with the stocks, problem fixed.

From what I ever found the front rotors of the MSP were off some European model Mazda. I forgot what the rears are, but I think they're the same as something else. The front uses the same brake pads as the MX-6/626.

KVR was not able to match the MSP part number with ANY other North Americian model of Mazda.

An odd ball rotor doesn't help MSP guys much though, there's not going to be any big brake kits made for them. :)

Yeah, but those are made for the MSP because they're cool cars. I just meant it's not like we have Porsche compatible brakes and now have an endless amount of upgrades available. :)

the 626 ones are what i use on my protege5 , you have bigger brakes on a MSP

whats the advantage to using 626 rotors?
they are cheap i got all 4 rotors for $125.00 friom carquest
93-95 626 and 93-95 mx-6

i was looking on kvr's website, has anyone tried their carbon fiber brake pads for the msp? Just wondering if these are any better at stopping the build up of the depositis that cause the warping of the rotors? Any ideas?

KVR makes good pads. They've been used in throughout the Mazda community for years.

If you're interested in them you might want to search other message boards for information on them.
