Please help, HID kit sucks

Morimoto projector retrofit woulda been easier lol

but that's the adapter i was given with both sets i had before going to projectors.

Had to use some side cutters to snip em to get em to fit

OK.... my drivers side headlight has to have the headlights cycled a couple of times when cold to get the light to come on. Tonight, I noticed that when I turned the lights on, the drivers side came on for a split second then off... did it twice, stayed lit the 3rd recycle. Why do I have to cycle the switch to get that drivers light to boot up. Ive double triple checked all of my connections... Thanks.

Ok, I sprang for that harness. Is there a diagram on what goes to what? I thought about the harness when I put them in... I need a piece of mind... Lol

Do a Google search for HID Relay Harness install or check on youtube for install videos. Or you can wait for the harnerss to arrive as it has a good install sheet. He has two different kinds of relay harnesses for the H7 bulb application. You may get one where you need to ground two wires to your chassis (I used two bolts up by the radiator on each side) or you might get one where the ground goes to the negative terminal of the battery. Feel free to PM me when you get your harness and I can help you out. Can take pics or shoot a video if needed.

It's one of those "Get what you pay for" things

I've used multiple DDM kits (my previous order will be my last though)

The kits themselves are hit and miss it seems through different forums. And their customer service is next to NONE.

The guys at TheRetrofitSource, while are expenssive, have been nothing but great through multiple orders

Kits are great, and IF you have a problem, they are always there to replace it

Are most of these ballast using common plugs? As in, can I put another brand ballast in place of mine?

yup, most of the aftermarket ballasts i've seen use the same connectors
