Please give your XM or Sirius review!

After debating which to go with I decided to go with Sirius radio. I haven't had it activated it yet but my choice was nfl coverage and also howard stern coming. Seems like sirius has better selection of trance/dance music too.
I have 30days to try it out so i might switch to xm if sirius isn't good.
Like to hear how you like your sat radio.

Sirius all the way. Best programming, and for Techno/Dance the Beat 66 rocks. Nascar coming on 2007, NFL, NBA, Stern, love it just love it. Doe the lifetime subscription for only $499. Thats about 3.5 years of service at regular price.

i love sirius. i listen to mostly the rock stations, but they are awesome and the djs are hilarious. also, they play a lot of NCAA basketball games, which is pretty cool. and the chill station is awesome.. channel 64 i believe...

i was just talking about my sirius and how much i like it...i love the selection, you get good techno on 66, great indie rock on leftofcenter26, alternative on 21, hard rock on 20, hiphop on shady45 ( i love the lord sear and rude jude show on at like 5pm eastern) and the hiphop mixtapes and remixes channel on 42 ( no need for me to buy mixtapes every week now!)

i got the sirius antenna and receiver for free... so that's why for me. that and the Kenwood HU is sirius ready

My parents have and I just like the overall channel selections better. The DJs are way more enjoyable for my tastes.

I had sirius. You don't miss it until its gone. I mean traveling 3 hours a day to and from work. I really miss it. Good stuff.

sirius is far superior in my opinion.. I had XM for three weeks and I cancelled it.. The music channels played the same 20 songs over and over again.

Well I"m a kid (23yrs old hehe) and I listen to rap, techno and indie rock. But from 8:00 am to at least 12:00, i'm glued to npr. Sirius has 3 NPR stations i believe and has Air America (liberal radio) and some conservative station too (not that i listen to that, hehe).

P.S. Sirius also has the Discovery Channel on the radio!

P.S.S. I don't leave for work until I listen to the All Weather/Traffic Reports for NYC and Philly Station (station 150)

I had XM for six months, to me it was just like listening to the radio with no commercials. By that I mean that no matter what station I had it on, you are at the mercy of whoever is choosing the songs, and I only liked 10% of what was played.

yeh i like mp3s but you can't always get all the trance stuff and there are always new ones coming out can't follow them all.

I don't know which is better, but I have XM. I choose XM cause they carry MLB. I get listen to games at work!
