Planning to race in HS next year, what mods to make

George if you come down to VA Beach some time you're welcome to see how my car feels with 550/450 springs and only a rear bar. I like it a LOT. I am planning on getting some 300# springs to ride nicer on the street, the only place I dislike it is the whoops and expansion joints in the Hampton Roads area. I had zero issues in Dayton Ohio.

You're welcome to co-drive as well at an event. Next is September 6th.

That is a kind offer, but given everything we've discussed here I think I'm going to go back stock. Maybe I'll explore getting them revalved in the future, but for now I'm tired of the ride and need a more comfortable daily. My mind is preoccupied with chevy V8s right now, so I want to work that project more than autoX. My yokohamas are almost worn out and I want to try a 165/60R15 tire to see if I can bump up my MPG with a narrower tread.

Still curious if anyone has tried the Koni STR.T dampers with the stock springs. I'm guessing no.

So the final decision was the stock suspension back on the car and use the camber bolts to get -2.0 camber up front for just a little extra front end grip. Technically I'm still STF because of the camber bolts, but I'm probably not going to race next year. My plan is to go to LRR tires to actually reduce the grip and just enjoy the car on the street.

I've been happy with the Kuhmo Ecsta 4xII that I have now in the stock size. They actually grip way better than I expected for a 185mm width all-season.
