Apparently (according to a Mazdaspeed Tech I know), we share at the very least, our engine block, with the Euro only 2.0 Direct Injection Turbo Diesel. A quick phone call to a Mazdaspeed dealer for part numbers will tell you if the crank/pistons/rods are different from the regular Pr/Pr5/MP3. Or.. you can pull your oilpan and look. I work for a Mazda dealer, and I should be able to ask someone higher up in the food chain for some official numbers, or at least factory best guess. If I can, I'll post the results here (apparently our GSM knows the former head of the MSP program). I haven't seen anyone in a 'speed yank their rods yet and post pictures, we all love our warranty too much.
