Mazda to concentrate on specialized car sales in North America
Mazda has decided to strengthen sales of specialized cars in the US from next spring. They plan to start with a Protege based sport sedan which will be equipped with a turbocharged engine. In the US market, Fuji Heavy Industries introduced the Impreza turbo model this spring and its sale have been increasing since then. Mazda also released the MP3 (a limited-run sports model based on the Protege) this spring and they are confident that demands for small sport sedans will steadily increase. The new model is expected to have turbochaged engines based on 2 liter gasoline engines in order to increase output while reducing prices. This is the first time for Mazda to offer turbocharged engines in the US since they stopped imports of the RX-7 in the mid 1990s. The model will also be a key to improve their sporty brand image prior to the introduction of the RX-8 which will appear on the market in 2003.

Proof that it wont be named mp3 and it prolly wont include the system/rims/tires/struts we got it will prolly be all engine this will save them a ton to sell and make our cars different... also we could prolly but a turbo cheaper then they can but our parts....

It sounds like it may have the same sporty body and suspension with a turbo...just no mp3 system. If the turbos that come with them give it at least 190HP, maybe I'll get one installed if prices are right.

If I can get a 200hp off my MP3, I wouldn't ask for anymore. TypeR killer? Hohoho....

mp3559, my last post it was a cut and paste some one asked for. I emailed racing beat and they said that there is no more mp3 they know of so maybe it wont handle as good this time if racing hart isnt in on the car.
