That install is clean, nice job but where are the four ways! This is inspiring me to go ahead and replace the head unit. I don't know if i can wait for scosche either.

ill be putting in the Momo's and the 4channel this week hopefully with a lil dynamat. But with more power from the radio, the stock speakers are impressively holding their own pretty well. The polks are more than enough sound quality for me (only as long as they are powered right of course)

the main issue is the staging. i don't like how the music comes from your feet. this alone is something i will be taking care of fast!!

IF your up to getting custom, trust me its worth it. plus if its not exactly how you thought it would turn out, remember its only temporary till the kit comes out so either way its not bad at all

Unless I'm wrong... I think he was asking about the HAZARD LIGHTS switch when he said "Four-ways"... (I think). Where did you relocate the switch to?

oohhh.... ive never heard that term before. the switch is functional, its sitting on top of the radio right behind the kit where the original one would be, i just never made a hole to put the button in. i did not bother spending more time on the kit cuz ill be replacing it as soon as a real kit comes out. maybe ill do it this weekend since so many ppl are asking about it lol

*Its not posted in the rules, but we try not to post links to other car forums. Feel free to cut and paste info, but please don't posts the link. Thanks*

Would love to see your pics...

BTW, did you interface with the Bose Amp with a harness (which one?)... rewire the speakers or put in a new amp and speakers?

If I were to do this Id want to put my iPod in my glove box so its out of view and I dont have to mess with it, Id also lock my glovebox when I get out.

Don't you mean the center console box? The glove box doesn't lock.

I'm going to put my iPod in the center console because it locks. The little tray in there is perfect size for iPod anyway :)

no i went to the dealership and specifically wanted the crappiest system i could get since i was going to change it out anyways haha. im pretty sure there might be a harness that would cost between 85 to 150 that properly hooks up to the BOSE. I used the basic Mazda Harness (2001 and up) that was $20.

keep in mind, the Ipod interface allows you to view videos, which btw i was sooooo stoked, BUT u need to have access to the ipod to control the playing of the videos, which kinda sucks, but the music works as it should. thats why i will have mine in the center as well.
