Pioneer FH-P8000BT installed (sweet double-DIN action)

Hello,
i need some help from you.
where did you connect thje pin 11 and 12 in the original radio plug which is the dimmer and the illumination cable.
Thanks

Here is the pic of the receiver wiring adaptor from crutchfield. Should go into a matching hole or something. I have not got the dimmer to work as of yet but I hope this helps you. Oh sorry about quality. Cell phone.

A test light can be your best friend when you get lost installing a stereo. A couple bucks at wal-mart if you just need it to last long enough to do the stereo.

DO NOT USE A TEST LIGHT. You can easily burn out a circuit or blow your air bags. Use a DMM (digital multi-meter)!!!!

i got a DMM bro..
still how u will figure out this?

its not that easy to find the illumination..
anyways.. waiting for widgit117 to send me the details...

Sorry for the delay, took that picture with my cell phone. I know it wasn't great but short notice... I bought a new camera and I will take a picture of the diagram when I get home tonight. (I work 12 hrs a day on the weekend) If you need further assistance let me know. I will take out my HU if I have to but its not professionally installed. Two words: Electrical tape. I will redo those when I finish my complete setup mid-May.

You don't need to hook up the illumination if you do not want to. The illumination wire in the oem harness should go from 12V to 0 or vice versa when the parking lights are turned on

I am back. Here is the picture of the wiring adaptor from crutchfield so the wires would mirror your adaptor. Also I didn't hook up the illumination wire because I could find one to hook up to.

edit: the pics didn't upload. Let me retry.
