pinstriped

I went to pep boys today and bought silver and black pinstripe along with yellow caliper paint. my friend and i went to his dad's dealership to put the pinstripes on, but one of the workers there happened to see us doing it and he took over. took him 5 minutes and he did a sweet ass job. the single silver pinstripe looks nice in my opinion. im definitely happy with it. calipers will hopefully be done next weekend.

Pinstripping on a sporty car looks funny. I had it on my Protege 5 but I took it off. First off my car is red has zero gold anywhere in the car that what the pinstripping was gold maybe silver I would of left it.

It looks so much better without it. It's not a lincoln town car or Cadillac my 2 cents.

The silver pinstripe definitely helps complement the blue. It doesnt stick out and look all dumb. Its not even that noticable to most people. just a small nice added effect in my opinion.

my wifes P-5 (black mica) has pinstriping which was on it from the dealer...but its not tape...its actually painted on....was done by hand as well....its two tone gray....it looks sharp.

Cause i know you love taking pics :-) Pic please :-)

I will try to remember to take a pic when I get home from work....I know she washed the car yesterday...cause I was the towel boy!! and had to dry it off to keep it from spotting all up. I just spent half a day waxing it about a week ago.

only if I am lucky!! lol

Okay...I just took the pictures of the pinstriping on my wifes car...there are three images....the pinstriping as I stated before is two tone gray....its DARK gray on top with a lighter gray on the bottom...it really accents the car nicely.

and here is the shot down the side towards the back. .... as the two stripes come to the back they actually join as one to form a single point with the light gray on top of the drak gray.

that tint is within the legal limits here.....but it really looks darker in the pic since its INSIDE...and with a car that has a black interior....just makes it look that much darker.

Funny....I didn't notice the reflection at all. :{D as mentioned earlier...she had just washed the car that day....and I had spent HOURS AND HOURS detailing it and waxing it the week before that. so it BETTER be shiney!!!
