For those that dont know that is an MPI TUNER from Nick at Modern Performance. It is normally associated with using extra injectors for fuel delivery. I have one laying around since I swapped to the Ssafc.
 
Yea thats what I miss since I swapped. Its nice to control timing. It is capable of using the stock injectors but the best way is with extra injectors. It has 3 different maps....analog "stock injectors" injection " extra injectors" and Ignition "Timing". You use a base model LX ecu with it. I will say one thing my car ran a lot smoother with the Mpi. Its a good cheap unit to start with if someone is lookin to turbo their car.
 
could i use an mpi tuner to reduce fuel and adjust my timing both ways with my low compression motor that is non turbo right now?
 
the mpi piggyback allows you to adjust both fuel and timing.. the extra injectors are just a option.. been using one for years and with the msp ecu..
