Piggy-back question

Hey guys,

My current motor is running 11:1 compression. The dyno shop that I have been talking to says that a piggy-back unit like an e-manage would not be safe on my car b/c of the compression. Is this true? Right now I am running on an MP3 ECU.

i would think it would be even safer than the mp3 ecu, due to the ability to advance/retard timing and fuel rate...provided that it is properly tuned.

I would like to but tuition is coming due and I can't afford the standalone price tag right now. I will upgrade later for sure though. Thanks for the advice guys!

what kind of gains are u looking at for a piggy back such as unichip?

cos ive got obx mani, injen, and intake cam.
