emm..i saw it at the dealership today and my jaw dropped..
i think it looks awesome...
ill still wait for porsche ppg arctic white on my car though..

I look at it this way, that blue was so popular on the MP3 that Mazda wisely used it again on another car. Mazda has done this a number of times though with Miata colors.
Those headlights look cool though. I like the black with the no orange.

I can't say I like the headlights at all. We're all entitled to our own opinions. I will say they are damn sight better than the Impala "smoked" look. I'll stick with my dual cannon chromed look. And do we really need TWO sets of sidemarkers?
Silver guages? I'd have to see them I guess but they sound...weird.
Laser Blue, I love the color on the MP3, and it looks good here. I'd have to say that as an MP3 owner I'd be pissed just slightly, even if imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. In all though, I think these changes say something about the Protege5 - It's selling, Mazda is taking and using feedback, and they are serious about marketing this car to the certain crowds.
In a way, this "remix" makes my car all the more unique

The reason for the light on the lower front bumper on the Protege 5 is to meet the federal laws about having an amber running light on the front corner of the car. The Protege sedan has it in the headlight, the Protege 5 doesn't.

The black headlights look cheap. I prefer the chrome look of the 2002's. The extra side marker is just like my 2002.5. I like it. I'm guessing the silver gauges are the same as the 2002.5 too. They look good.

Will definetly be going with those on my car. I like the fact that they changed the orange in the headlight as well. If I don't swap them out then I am just going to pull mine apart and paint them and while I was at it I was going to smoke the orange lens in the light Gotta see how hard it is going to be to get a set of the black lights. I called the dealer I bought my car from and they said that they couldn't even order them yet. I am still on the fence about the color though

Yeah those lights look cheap.....Must be (stoned) they look awesome, they have the Skyline look.

so in essence..the wings west front makes the pr5 illegal to drive on the round then...
do you think cops would really notice though..i mean if u install the mp3/euro style sidemarkers on the fender after getting the bumper...i hate those side bumper lights..
