Just lowered my car today with a set of Spool lowering springs, 2" drop all around, looks really good, it's exactly what I wanted. I can still get around without any worry, but it has an awesome drop/lack of wheel well gap. The left over wheel well gap is only about 1/2" to 1/4" left. It's great and the pictures really don't do it justice. I took a few pics from differening perspective, notice I took a side shot from a standing point of view, then squatting at about the center of the car height.

Handling is awesome by the way as well, I took a turn today and stuck to the road like mad, and it makes me want racing seats now, because my handling is so good, I can't stay in my seat enough to keep up with my car =)

Also, even tho the rear is really low, it supposedly should still settle about another 1/8th to 1/4"

does the front bumper still fit over curbs/cement block thingies when you park?

well the underside of my bumper is about 5" off the ground, so, depends on the block, when I got the wingswest bumper (which is about 1" lower) I stopped even trying to park over those things. For the most part, I'd say probably not.

ewwww pepsi blue. lol

yea, the backs gonna settle about another 1/4 to 1/2, in a few weeks, then it really looks good.

yeah I accidentally bought a 12pack of pepsi blue, and now I'm trying to get rid of em... I threw this one out after using it for pictures ;)

haha yeah thanks Mx3 for helping out with the install, it was a great learning experience, and I hope it helps you with your swaybars.

I too put my springs on Saturday. Did you guys have to use your spring compressor on the rear? I did not, just pushed down. I packed my trunk full of stuff saturday nite, and sunday morning it was at the tire almost. Took the stuff out, and it sits perfect. Didn't notice when I put my skunk2 on, but the rear sway bar is quite small. That may be my next upgrade. Very happy with the SPool springs, highly recommend. I will post pics later, but pretty much the same as Equinox's...just yellow. Later:)

well, i'm sure you could just push on them ALOT, but why not just take the 30 seconds to attach to the compressor and do it the correct way? you'll need two ppl to set the springs properly if you have no experience. one to align the strut ends and the spring on the beds, and one person to compress the spring.

I just took the 10 seconds it took to push down on them instead, and then my buddy standing there picking his ass said, Oh want me to screw that nut on?? So I went that way. Damn good springs though:)

Sweet looks good, i will be putting mine on as soon as this snow s*** is gonna stop. is there any tricks that i should know before installing. I think Jamie mentioned taking apart the rear deck to get to the Struts??? any help would be great. i cant wait to get mine on!!!

Hey! It looks great!

I got a question tho! Is it better to have a full suspension change along with new spring? or there is no difference in having stock suspension and just change lowered spring?

Thanks

well, since reagan's is a p5, i dunno about the rear struts, but i'll take a look at mine today. i'll be installing some eibachs in about a week on my car, so i'll let ya know then about any problems i ran into.

we had a full shop at our disposal, so we had a nice spring compressor, airtools, lift etc to use...everything went very smoothly. for the huge spring comp we used, 2 ppl were need to seat the springs correctly.

looks good.
wait a while and your springs will settle a little bit so it'll be lower than now.
