Pics of the new tint!

75 visibility here in MD, and if you have a tint they will pull you over especially in our cars or ones like it. They got a 2F2F crack down here in MD. It sux. Sure i could get what ever i wanted but its a 150 dollar fine plus a repair order plus the 120 or so to have it removed then after i get the repair order signed off its 140 to retint!!!!!

Probably the most expensive mod you can do in MD if it isn't legally tinted!!!

Well. I washed the MSP after gettin' off the beach today. Decided to take a few more pics in the driveway, just cause it was right after bein' cleaned. Then took a shower. Drove up to the bay right at sunset .. and the ******' batteries in the digital camera died. How's that for ****** up?

Anyhoo, now I'll have to go out and find some batteries .. but here's the ones I took in the driveway before the camera died on me. The bastard.

There are places to get tint that dark here in colo, but you pay in cash...leaves no paperwork.
Where can I get it done at? I have no idea of any places around here. Also we should try and get a Colorado meet sometime this summer.

I like it! As I said in the other thread I have 15% too. I think it's dark enough to keep "wandering eyes" out, but not too dark so that you can't see at night (although it is a little more difficult). I think the limit here is 28% but when I had mine done I paid in cash and he still have me the lifetime warranty... he never said anything about it being illegal.
Anyways, have you driven at night yet? It takes a little getting used to.

cali tint law is any tint on the back and rear window but NOTHING on the the front windows... its crap

i live in cali and have all my windows tinted except on the windshield i have a strip across the top. spicynamja just put your front windows down when you see any cops but for the most part, look around virtually everyone else has it so it can't be that bad.

Yup, I had to drive at night the very first day I had it, since it took them about 5 hours to do the tint and they didn't start till 3pm. And yeah, it definitely took some getting used to. Like I said before, it was like drivin' in a dark movie theater with the windshield as the movie screen. It was even more annoying cause I couldn't roll the windows down, ha. But I'm used to it now, so s'alright.

And yeah, the guy that did my tint never said anything to me about anything being illegal .. Then again, I'm not sure if it's because I got the tint done in Jersey and my car is registered to PA. Maybe because of that, the tint shop wouldn't be able to be held responsible?

looks good, i've got 5% on the back and 35% up front i was gonna go 20 % up front but decided to go 35 to keep the fuzz of my ass!!

Thats how it is here in MI, same thing. 35 u can get by but it really depends on the cops discretion. as long as the cop can see the driver and front passenger u should be good. tint laws are a bunch of crap.

Hey! You stole my car!!! LOL Mine is 99.9% identical (diff. sticker). Here in Qubec it's illegal to have more less 70% (that is the light that MUST pass) tint in the front... I've got almost 50%! (35% plus the original tint) A cop stopped me (for speeding) and measured it. Did not give me a ticket for the tint 'cause he handed me another one of 430$ !! :(

$430?? Holy s***, how fast were you going???

But, by dumb luck, I got tonight off work -- and it looks like the sunset is gonna be gorgeous! I've got the batteries for the digital camera all charged up, so I'm gonna drive down to the bay AGAIN in about an hour and try again to get some nice pics. Hope it all actually works out this time!

Whee! Sunset!

From someone who has done serious photography as a hobby (and a bit more), I can say that you're doin' quite well indeed! Keep at it! :)
