Pics of the new tint!

I did have a thread goin' about this in the MSP Appearance section .. but I figured more people would see it here. And I want t'get a lot of opinions, so. Y'know.

It's 15% all around, including the windshield strip. The quality and the images themselves aren't the best. This was a MAJOR rush job -- I didn't even have the chance to wash the car because the weather's been really unpredictable, nor 'position' the car in a photo-friendly manner. I just wanted to hurry up and snap a few while the sun was actually half out.

Thursday's supposed to be really nice, though .. So I'm gonna try to get up early, polish up the 'Speed, and take it somewhere nice -- maybe on the beach itself if there aren't any cops around -- and take a buncha pics!

I hate the fact that I cant get 15% here in Colo, there are laws against it. I would love to have tint that dark. I looks really nice.

I think the fact that the sun was starting to set made the tint look a bit darker than it really is .. It IS dark, yeah, but nothing like limo tint where it's completely and absolutely black. You can still see through it to a degree -- just enough to let people see that it's a female driving the car, LOL. That always throws them off.

Hopefully, the pics that I take on Thursday will come out better!

There are places to get tint that dark here in colo, but you pay in cash...leaves no paperwork.

I like dark tint a lot better. I have 20% which is illegal here for the front windows, but there was no way in hell I was going to waste money on 35%.

I have 15% on my car, I love it. It's dark as hell. 50% is all that is legal here. You just have to sign the waiver releasing them.

.. Actually, the 15% is definitely not legal. I'm pretty sure that 35% is the limit in NJ, and you're not allowed to have the front windows tinted at all. I dunno if it's cause I'm from PA and got the tint done in NJ that it was all fine .. but whatever! I have a receipt, the lifetime warranty, and I'm a veryhappyperson.

I've got 20% on mine, which is still illegal but their is so many other darker cars out there that cops cant hardly say anything about it. But i think 20 looks nice, dark enough to hide your visage but light enough to tell that i didn't give my windows the krylon touch

Definitely not 35% -- it's 15%. The 35% wasn't nearly dark enough for me.

70 is the legal for ohio lol
