leather generaly is expensive but it looks good. you would probable be looking anywhere from 50 to 100 dollars. mine is 4 way stretch and looks good and feels like leather last longer to. it's the only mateirial that i could get in silver not grey

Yup, or just cut it off. The actual black shifter has some sort of a rubber plasticky goo (you get the point) around the top and the extention(stupidest thing ever) was fitted snugly onto that goo. It had to be done at high temperature so it won't come off. So like toucci said use a blow torch to heat the s*** out of the extention and then just tugg it off with plyers. Should work...

wow, umm, i was bored about month ago, so i took a pistol grip from a colt .45. like everything from the hammer down, chopped off the barrel, then i welded a nut into the bottom to hold the threads, and thats my shifter now.
