wooo...this thread sucks. hope you do good at the track, 4DR...those cut springs must be guaranteed to put all the power to the wheels. seriously though, everyone should be allowed to do whatever they want to THEIR car...if it sucks, then it does. if that s*** is bangin...you'll see em in super street someday. anyone with basic knowledge of cars SHOULD know what works and what doesnt...basic DOs and DONTs of car modification. as for tachs and shift lights, im all for them...they actually help you keep your eyes on the road. anyhow...4DR...i seriously hope you do well on the track...it might make more companies give us more aftermarket support if more protege5/pros/mp3s were entereted in comps like that. hopefully you can use those 200 bucks to buy some springs.

Okay, so I'm reading back through the posts in this crappy thread, and I'm realizing that my first post was probably really out of line. I definitely started the animosity in this thread, and I don't think I meant to.
4DRMP5ATR, you can do whatever you want to your car, of course, just as well as I can do (or not do) whatever I choose to mine.
For some reason, I mistakenly thought you were the aggressor - reading back made me realize that quite the opposite is true.
I am actually embarrassed by my first post in this thread. I don't visit this forum to start s***, but somehow, that's what I did.
So I AM gonna "suck it", 4DRMP5ATR, and apologize for attacking your mods, and you personally. I still don't like what you've done to your car, but it's not my place to talk s*** the way I did. I could have gotten my point across in a less demeaning way.
I'm nobody's "b****", and I'm not bowing down to anyone here, but I believe strongly in admitting when you're wrong, and that's what I'm doing. Like it or not, I started something nasty here, and I don't want to be known for that. If someone s**** on me, hey, I guess the flamewar is on, but I'm not trying to start them.
Hope you can accept this as graciously as I give it. Good luck on the track. And I'd still like to see you trail me thru NYC. Just for fun. Broadway's a whole different kind of race.

Nice ride yo, I like the stance. Have you thought about air bags at all, I know they are expensive and not alot of people have the dough to throw down on them but they would do wonders for the P5 I think. Keep up the mods and I hope you whoop some azz at the tracks. Just a tip though, unless your throwing down ALOT of power to the ground...smoking your tires wont help a whole lot at the track. I would suggest just brushing all of the loose dirt and gravel off of them before each run. IMHO
