Man - Why wouldn't you go for the Mazda racks that screw into the roof? They fit Thule stuff and look better imho.

I have'm and the work great Probably cheaper than the Thule gear too - I paid $300 I think

ahh a fellow rider
I was going to put my roofrack on the mp5 but i didnt want the hassle of taking off my front wheel all the time(I race bmx and MTB so I do it alot)
Has anyone put a 1 1/4" hitch rack on their mp5 yet?
If so which one and any pics would be nice

ya, I'll give you that...the thule product has steel bars, the Mazda one is alum. A deal is always a good thing too.


To Dinger. There's at least one guy here with a hitch and has pictures. Do a search on hitches and you'll find it. Not sure if he has a hitch bike rack though.

Thule big mouth will hold your bikes without removing the wheel...

I think i'm going for the hitch, just because its easy to put my bikes on and off plus ill get better gas mi. on the long trips I go on.
