I got it two months ago and all ive done to it is paint the calipers, change the grille, and put the chrome muffler tip on. Its pretty plain and not near as cool as most of the rides on here, but its still a blast to drive. Ive missed driving a 5 speed these past couple years. oh also I had the windows tinted.

it is a $25 kragen autoparts chrome muffler tip, lol....stock muffler in front of it.

Im not 100% pleased with the quality and fitment of the grille, but it looks alright. I slapped a mazda emblem on there for a personalized touch, i havent seen a mazda with one in that location before. Thanks for the compliments by the way .

I was going to, but the horn is on the passenger side. If you looked at it head on it was sort of ugly so i put the emblem on the horn side to disguise it.

Looks good. Get a hold of a nice s2k antenna, and you'll have a pretty nice lil get'round town car there. Also, painting your headlights would be a cheap and easy mod that would really compliment black...

Edit: I really like the emblem on the pass. side. Not sure why. Maybe just because I've never seen it done.

Where did you get the grill from? and how did you mount that emblem?

Nice and clean! I definitely say paint the headlights. It's so cheap, and yet it completely changes the look of your ride. (I painted mine...see my sig.)

i got the grille off of ebay for like $110 shipped i think. I have since seen better versions, more expensive anyway and claiming to have better fitment, on different websites.

the emblem i also bought on ebay....mostly because all the dealership emblems were at least $30. I got 2 emblems for $10 shipped. I bought this particular one because it had 2 pegs on the back and it was not the stick on kind. I went to the hardware store and bought some 5 cent retainer washers to hold it on from the back and that was it.

thanks, 35% front, 5% back. 5% is a little too dark, if i did it again i would go 15-25% on the back and stick with 35 in the front.

Nice looking car. If you can keep the black paint looking good it's the best color choice imo.
Get rid of the fender gap and roll the heck out of the car. Enjoy.
