thanks ya'll, I am proud of my baby, as stock as she is....
...the real reasons that I went with 16's is because the MR7 is a heavy wheel in a 16, but even heavier in 17 inches. 24 lbs., to be exact. And as we all know, the P5 handles exceptionally, and 96 extra pounds would destroy my handling. In size 16, they only weigh about 19 lbs., which ain't as bad.
Also, I was alotted about 400 bucks by the insurance company to help pay for new wheels, so I had to work with what I was given. I just so happened to run by NTB one day, and see these MR7's that I really wanted. The guy said he would give them to me for $440, so I jumped on it, and now I got Motegi's.
Yeah man, I have to say that 16" wheels look really nice on the P5... sure, larger are cool too, but I just like the look of 16s. Especially when the car is lowered. Nice car man, looks super sharp.
DO NOT DEAL WITH PEP BOYS. THEY ARE AWEFUL. I tried to deal with them, and the people there told me that "it would be stupid to waste these good wheels on such a worthless car." Even if you are joking, you don't say something like that. IMO, complete assholes.
The tires on them are not new, but the same ol' stock tires the car came with. It's about time I get some new ones though. The best part of the whole thing is that NTB had the wheels, by chance, in stock at THAT store when I requested them. The dude there said some guy had ordered them for a Jetta but changed his mind, so he offered them to me for $110 a wheel. Great guy. I will most definitly be doing business with them again.
Anyway, thanks for the comments, I am proud of her looks...and I hope I can keep improving. Feel free to throw any ideas or comments my way.
