Looks like a nice car, but either take pictures when the sun is out, or put a flash on that camera. :)

(thumb)It does look really nice. Nothing really over the top and it appears someone took time on the bumper cover and skirt fitment. I like the color too. Maybe a bit wider wheel and tire would really set it off.
What's under the hood? Tell us a little about it. Mod list?

Nothing special. I wanted to get an engine for my P5, but a family friend gave me a really good deal on the body work.

Here's the rundown of mods, like I said, nothing really special:

Everything else is pretty much stock. It's an NA daily driver. I plan on getting coilovers, 19x9 and 19x10 wheels, and then start working on the engine. As far as engine work goes, I'm still deciding to either do a TII swap with V-mount, or a 20b na or even perhaps 20b single turbo.

I plan on doing things in that order pretty much. I really want to finish up the suspension then start working on the engine. The thing I like about the 20b is well, it's a 20b! It just sucks that 20b swaps are illegal. I'd probably have an easier time with a TII swap. That's why I'm still deciding on what to do.

But for now, this project will be on hold. My priority right now is getting my P5 back on the road and back to stock so the 7 can get some down time in. I've got other stuff waiting to be installed, but because it's my daily driver at the moment, I can't afford to not have it running.

No, they are RE Amemiya Mirrors. Google him and his shop and you will see some bad ass rotories!
 
Why a boost gauge and Turbo timer if you don't have a turbo? I'm not bashing you or anything, it just seems like money poorly spent on useless parts..

The turbo timer I pulled from my Protege 5, I was going to turbo charge it before the engine blew. That's what pretty much turned me onto rotories. The boost/vacuum gauge I got for a really good deal and it was a rare old school RE Amemiya. In reality, the 13bt swap would be more practical than a 20b so I'd at least have the boost guage already. I hooked it up to make sure it works.

I honestly don't look at it as money poorly spent because 1) I'm eventually going to have to buy those things and 2) the truth of the matter is, any money spent upgrading a car, is technically money poorly spent. Mostly because most cars aren't investments, they're liabilities. The reverse is the same with a house. You'll always be ahead when you hook up a house.

But yeah, they are pretty useless at the moment and I bag on myself for that all the time. I'm such a fan boi! ;P

What kind of roll cage are you using? And where did you get the bracket for your bride seat?
 
I got the bracket from another forum member on rx7club.com. The seat used to be in my protege 5. I'm using a Safety 21 Roll Cage made by Cusco. The only bad thing is that it's made for RHD, but it's better than nothing. I put it in because I've flipped a car before and I'm a bit paranoid.
