Because I wondered what all the crap looked like when it wasn't professionaly installed in a civic, I have uploaded some pics of my ride, and most of what has been done I haven't seen, tho a lot of it I have seen.

http://photos.yahoo.com/therealequinox

The album includes a pics of:

AEM bypass Valve (black foamy thing on Injen CAI)
AT Grill on a silver car
CF dash trim
Mirror tint on Silver car
PIAA Yellow Ion Crystal Fog bulbs
PIAA x004s hidden in TOP grill

Also a cool note:
The foglights have a little anti blinder shield that covers the top half of the foglight bulb in the housing, well I got some curved needlenose pliers and took the blinders off, so, for the first time I have seen, my foglights are fully illuminated and don't have that half lit, dim look. Also could someone post a link of the stock lit foglights, so you guys will know the difference. Also, keep in mind these pics are taken at mid-day.

Just a suggestion.....put the bypass valve on the OTHER side of the MAF sensor.....IF by some miricle you do suck up some water...do you REALLY want it going through your sensor BEFORE it gets to your bypass valve? ....

you should have the bypass valve as close to the filter as possible.....

just a suggestion

Yes if you have the Bypass valve on that side of the MAF you will stall if you run through a puddle anyway.

Otherwise, great looking car :D

?? about your bumper lights

Did you color match them to the car? They don't look like they're clear though. Looks clean. Nice ride!!

Yea, i agree, i have my bypass valve on the other side of the sensor, you should change that.

Also, Are those Katzkin leater interior? if so, how much did you pay for it?

Thanks,

Hmm, nice ride. I really like the leather seats! Not to be a punk or anything, but the reason those "blinders" are on the fog lights has two purposes. One is so you don't blind other drivers, cause those suckers are pretty bright and you don't need them to shine on everything, and Two...foglights are ment to illuminate the ground. Fog doesn't settle on the ground as much as it dose in the air and they work better then normal headlights that way. By removing the blinders you made them useless as true fog lights. But then again if you don't live in an area where that's a problem, or if you don't care, then it's all good.

dude i thing your cars pretty tight all with one exception the shift knob dont worry though i give you props it looks pretty tight..... just curious though how much did you pay for the carbon fiber inserts....???? email me and let me know wuz up and what your plans are for your car peace out and keep pimpin it

Slight correction here, you want thre bypass valve as close to the throttle body as reasonably possible. If you visit AEM's webpage they say to have it on the same axis as the throttle body if possible. That way if there is a slight pressure drop in the pipe, the bypass valve will open and suck in the air.

Actualy I intentionaly put the bypass after the MAF just incase I do suck in water, the car will tell me I am by stalling, and I can drive accordingly, or just pull over and wait it out. I'd rather the car know it is drowning than not.

The Carbon Fiber was from WoodTrim.com of all places, forgot how much it cost, something like 200 though

The seats are stock from the dealer except ONLY for the silver down the centers, the centers is silver metallic dye just like the steering wheel, I had the centers dyed to match the car yes, and it looks EXACTLY the same color as the exterior in real life. The reason I didn't get silver center leather and not just dye it is leather doesn't come metallic, but dye does.

btw the dying cost me 30$ for steering wheel, and 75$ per seat.

total = 180$

Soon tho I am having the seat centers changed to perferated red leather, and the upholstry shop is going to deduct the 180$ from my final bill so, woohoo.

The shiftknob btw is MOMO, just like the black boot. It is the Crystal line, and no it does not light up, the picture somewhat makes the knob look gay but thanks for the lack of flame.

About the sidemarkers, they are painted over and color matched like you said, I hate them because they do not blink and they look lame anyways, I could have made them blink but I decided to eventualy just get a sidemarker and fill in the stock "sidemarkers" with fiberglass at the same time I shave my emblems

About the foglights, in Texas I have never seen fog, and I've looked at them from far away in another car and they didn't blind me any more than those PIAA little yellow foglights I see put on accords all the time around here.

oh oh oh i got a question what the hell are those lights behind your grill on both sides of your emblem just wondering because i it looks kinda wierd.......and i dont know if anyone else has noticed them there i didnt the first time but there they are.....to many lights if you ask me bro......

Those driving lights on either sides of the emblems are just PIAA bolt on lights, also yeah that's rust on the grill, and yes AT Grills suck and I no longer have it on my car, much like everyone I know that has em.

Also those stock seats are stock only before the leather was an option in the cars, my local dealer contracted a upholstry shop nearby to install leather and they offer it that way. The stock leather mazda NOW offers I have never seen.
