Pick up this week!

Hey guys, just letting you all know that I will be picking up a Galaxy Grey 2007 Mazda 3 GT with luxury package some day this week. I'm coming up from Lethbridge to pick her up. What I should do is pick her up the same day as the meeting at COP. Look forward to seeing all you other Mazda loyalists!!(cool)

Yes i am, I have been on the forums for a while. I used to own a MS Protege but traded for a Tribute. I missed the whole manual shift and having a car so I'm really excited to get my new car.

WOOT! Just got the call today. Everything is a go and I should be able to pick up my car sometime this week. Man I'm excited and look forward to modding this sweet car!

I ended up going with Kramer Mazda. I have read that they were a really good dealership to buy a car from and so far I haven't been disappointed. As for coming to COP, I'm going to have to run it past the G/F but I'm hoping it won't be a problem. I live in Lethbridge so it isn't as easy as living there but I'll use taking it for a drive and breaking it in as a excuse. BTW, what usually goes on at these meetings?

Breaking it in on the highway is actually the worst thing for a car. Not trying to discourage you from coming, but...

Pssssh. It wouldn't even matter if he tried breaking it in on the highway. The journeyman doing the pre-delivery inspection probably bagged the s*** out of it before delivering it to the customer anyways. (Well driving at excess speeds over 90km/h for a period of times to make sure there isn't any vibrations or 'wrong' from factory)..

Just kidding about the first part....well there could possibly be some truths to that. :P

Well I'm picking the car up from Calgary coming from Lethbridge. I'll have to do some highway driving no matter what. What is important as far as I know is to not use cruise and change speeds a lot on the highway. Sticking the car in cruise staying at one speed is the bad thing. As long as I change speeds a lot I'll be fine.

Where do you guys all drive to anyways?? I think it sounds like a ton of fun.

You'll definitely be changing your speed a lot if you come out Saturday. Farn(Monkey 3) is correct LOL. There will be huge speed fluctuations LOL.
Don't worry..we make sure your car broken in by the time saturday is over :)
