anyone with these bulbs please help me out. they are yellow right? where did you get yours and how do you like them. everything i have heard so far is good but don't be affraid to tell me the bad s***. thanks guys and gals

I have the PIAA H3's and I love them ... They are not as yellow as I thought and wanted (like Lexus) but I can't complain ... they have been great. Hassle free and they help in poor weather conditions too. Here are some old pics taken with a crappy camera @ winter time:

(sorry for the size)

If you look in the second picture you can see how the grass is yellow and the wood has a blue tint to it ... that is the look I was trying to get. Looks way better in person.

... and of course I no longer have the mesh grill (replaced with AUTOEXE) and it is lowered with spool springs ... the look of the fogs covering the ground is even better now.

I have the piaa Ions.

It will not look yellow at all. But it is because of the reflector thing inside the housing.
Its like, if you are in fron of the car, it will look white, but if you look at the ground or get closer to them, you will see your legs yellow.

Thanks for the pics.

Are the PIAA's CLEARLY a different color/pattern than stock? I plan on keeping the metal reflectors on.

I just want to be a little different, but keep the stock lamps, just change out the bulbs. (and not lose any light)

check it out.

fog light should be yelowish or it should meant to be yellowish

it's useless if the color of fog light is white or somethin, u will see s*** when there's fog.. and that is true b/c i've been into that kind of situation..

just for off road show, yeah whiter(there's no such a word :D i made it up) the better.. but for real life use, yellow would be the choice

I have them, I say they kind of suck. Basically, I wouldn't buy them again.

Up close they look yellow, walk a few feet away and they go back to white automatically.

Not worth it IMO.

I bought the ones mentioned in the 2nd post, the OSRAM ones - will let you know my thoughts when they arrive.

yeah, I'd say brighter ... depends on what wattage you go with too. I dont have any problems with others flashing me either.

Once again, they suck... I paid $55 for mines shipped to my door, but if you can ge them for $30 shipped to your door - then get them, if not, don't waste you money!

Finally installed my OSRAM fogs...Pretty much what you see with the PIAAs is what these look like. A little different, but not a blatent yellow.

About 35.00 shipped from Britain. shipping only took like 2 weeks.
