Attention HELP NEEDED!!

ok im painting the rims gold....but im having difficulties finding a paint for the rims to match the gold im looking for...

the rim paint produced by duplicolor only comes in a bronze color...so is it safe or okay to use another type of paint to paint the rims with...ie gold paint or some sort of high heat paint???

also any links anyone could give me that has some gold paint so i can take a look at it would be greatly appreciated so far this is the closest gold i could find for what im looking for.....

just wondering if it would be okay to use this type of paint on the rims

link is here

and what it's supposed to look like when dried and painted..

i went to PEP boys and found this but i plan on going to autozone later to check it out and see if i can find something better....

any help would be appreciated

thanks

dont see why u cant use other paint thats not meant just for wheels, i used krylon gloss black paint, just do multiple coats, krylon dries so fast, 10-15 minutes, then use multiple clear coats and you should be set and safe. pm me if u need help man, always here to help a man out, especially a florida man, lol, take it easy man

whats clear coat look like?
is it that spray paint can that just has a clear top on it?

thats for car paint....if you can tell me a model and eayr it was made...of a gold car it would help

lol

you could try napa I know the stores around here can mix paint and put it into rattle cans you could take a pic in of the color you want and they could match it

finally got the paint i was looking for...now i just have to sand the rims down and get started on the paint process....

ill keep everyone updated.

thanks again for the help
