That is kind of expensive for PG's latest line of amps which are sub-par compared to their previous lines (such as the Titanium series).

I'm pretty sure I mentioned this in another thread but the DLS Ultimate A6 (500x1@4ohms, 1200x1@1ohm) is only $526 and is a far far superior amp.

You may not have heard of DLS because they aren't sold at your local shop and would never be found at big-box retail stores. However, they are the real thing. DLS started its life colaborating with Genesis and has recently split off. Perhaps you aren't familiar with Genesis either...but its a household name...if you are an audiophile that is.
