Philly/NJ Meet & AutoX

This topic originally started in the Protege5 forum and now I am making it official.

We are trying to organize a meet in April. There are also several SCCA events going on during this month in the Philadelphia area. See link below:

I was thinking that maybe we can organize a meet at some point during the month and then get together for the AutoX in April 26.

Please post suggestions about dates and places for a meet.

I personally work Sunday through Tuesday and I cannot meet on April 12 or 19 (Saturday). I know this only leaves me basically with April 5 so if everyone else wants to meet during those days then majority rules.

i will be at the autoX, and i would like to meet up, as long as its not the between 15-20. Sundays are best for me or any time after 5pm. i could probally arrange to meet on a saturday if thats when the meet will be.
Where did you guys get ur mazda's anyone get theirs at faulkner? They got 3 MSP there now.

OK, there hasn't been too many replies to this thread yet... so, let's have a head count of who is in for the Philly meet!!

It seems that some people already have plans of attending the AutoX on April 26, so if we can't meet before we will get together at the AutoX.(thought)

Hey,

Just got home from work. I am in for a meet but I work Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday but I am good for a Saturday meet if its after 3 P.M.. Also I can't do a meet during April 9th to 13th. I am gonna be in Florida soaking up the sun YAY!!! I would really like to meet up sometime with everyone besides just the autox day

ill be in fl. the 15-20th as well (west palm). Sat. after 4 are good with me. although it does get dark fairly early still. i work or have class everyday except sun and sometimes sat. untill 4pm.

As for the getting dark thing I dont see that being a problem since Daylight savings time is this Sunday so we will be getting 1 hour extra of light at nights but for all you early workers on sunday morning like myself its gonna suck cause we lose 1 hour of sleep

I will be there. and if there is a meet before that i will try and come if im in town. I was suppose to AutoX this sunday, but my car will still be in the shop till wedsday so the 26th will be my first time AutoX. Maybe on the 12thor 13th we can meet up.

I can make the auto x on the 26th but i am from delaware and the last time i went to an auto x was when they were in camden. So if some one can post a reply on where it is taking place and how to get there that would be great..

* Suggested arrival time - 7:30am to 8:00am
* Registration and course opens for walking around 8:00am
* Registration closes 9:15am
* Tech closes at 9:30am
* Novice Walk at 9:20am and sporadically throughout the morning
* Mandatory Drivers Meeting 9:40am
* First car off 10:00am
* 5 Minute Course walk between heats 2 and 3.
