i just finished installing the perrin fmic, sqv bov, and injen cai at the same time. and boy, let me tell you, i would rather haul piles of terds before i do that again. 7 1/2 hours of hell. however! on the plus note, everything is running good, to an extent. here is where the question comes into play.

when accelerating, am i supposed to hear sucking air noise really loud? and i am experiencing some bucking and hesitation, not much, when i get going, its going....good. is the hesitation from the bigger intercooler? i have the ghl turboback coming this week, will the exhaust help with the hesitation? thanks

Yeah the injen will increase the sound of air being sucked in dramatically. Did you reset your pcm by disconnecting the negative terminal and depressing the brake pedal? I don't get any hesitation from my injen.
You might want to run some seafoam through the intake also. It helps with the idle and reduces hesitation. I use it at every oil change.

Good luck solving things.

The bucking and hesitation comes from not only the FMIC, but the whole setup. My car was doing the same thing for a while, until I relocated my MAF. You should relocate you MAF, it will make a day and night difference.

Yeah, you're getting to the point where your going to need some sort of engine management to take your car any further. Depending on your goals for your car, you can go a lot of different directions.

running a dual setup bov/bpv should help, thats what i intend to do.

i am running the dual setup, i guess im not used to the way it drives now. its not big deal, it is definitely more powerful. cullen is sending me a ghl turboback and it should be here beginning of next week. that should get rid of the lag, then when a fmic, cai, turboback map is made with unichip, i will be getting that
