Performance! What to do?

Ok I just purchased a 03 Spicy orange mica Latte and it came with 53,000 miles on it and its bone stock with a greddy turbo timer.
Now, I own a DSM and its my race car. I want to keep this car stock but just crank it up a little more, here are my Ideas.

1. Greddy profec-b II - 10 or 12 PSI
(The reason is because I dont want to clutter the interior with gauges even a boost gauge and it comes with a boost gauge on the program, also it matches the other turbo timer i have)
2. Replace the Cat ( Thats the only thing I see restricting the Power, its already 2.25 and I like the torque I have, plus I dont see many people getting huge power gains from a 900$ Exhaust)

I want to keep the car stock just improve it a little...
Anything Else?

Unless you're going to put quite a bit of money into it...Suspension mods far outweigh engine mods on this car. Your best investment lies in making it handle better.

umm i really wouldnt up the boost without supporting mods unless you want to blow your motor the msp dosent have a 4g63 in it....

I dont understand why you guys are blowing motors left and right?

A Very Prestegious tuner that I just spoke to, has made 11 sec passes on this motor in a 323 with slicks on a stock block, he has aslo done 12 sec passes on his own with stock internals.

So whats the deal?

ill tell you right now it was not the fs-de and if he is saying its the fs-de im going to have to call the bulls*** flag. have you seen the internals of this motor? the fastest anyone has made it on the stock motor is 13.1 and really no one else has come close to that. the person making the most power on the stock block right now reliabely is rich w/ 277hp.

people have blown there motors in the msp with stock boost and no mods at all. these motors are very weak. they are just your normal everyday protege/p5 fs-de

theres a stock mazda protege rod. tell me now that your going to do a 11 second pass on that

Do i just have a factory freak cause last weekend we went to sealy and I ran a 15, but my friend ran a 14, so why are ur cars breaking....and slow?

and for the record how many people have actually bent or broken a rod?
I have seen no proof or evidence that supports the weak motor theory

are cars are rated from mazda to run a 15.1 stock........and are cars are breaking and slow becuse there are just a regular protege with a turbo thrown on with no internal modification done what so ever. if you want to make power like i am your going to have to put alot of money in like i am lol

(enguard)

supporting mods are to be safe lol, im sure you could run 11 psi on a stock block once or twice or w/e, but ive read the zoom zoom boom thread and i wouldnt suggest it :P

i need my exhaust, my fuel managment system, engine mounts and then im putting mine up to 10/11

so far im pretty happy with my car, 500 bucks under the engine and shes a hella lot faster then she was.

have you searched on this forum at all? trust me if i started a thread on it i could get at least 100 ppl on this forum.

Dude, if you don't believe him, bump your boost up to 15 psi with no supporting mods. Then make sure you post (pics)
