Performance suggestions?

Hey guys, I'm just wondering what more modifications can I add to my 02 P5 auto in order to gain a little more hp and overall performance? (well...to be frank, adding a turbo would be too much financial burden to me at this point)
Currently:
.AEM SRI
.OBX header
.Tanabe axle-back exhaust w/ custom piping
.Maxspeed spring

Last week got beat by a stock(sounded like stock...) Ford Focus 4 door(not sure the year or trim, but !@#$%^)....don't know why and it's been bothering me since....so y'all's expertise n' comments would be highly appreciated!

get a 5-speed.......our cars are similar in performance to the focus 2.0 (not the SVT).

you will have to accept that if you are not going to boost your car!

Well, you've done the bolt-ons, now come the fun part. If you want more power, here's a few things to look into;
-Grounding kit/volt stabalizers
-NOS
-New Plugs and wires
-Cams
-Underdrive pulleys
-weight reduction (empty your trunk)
-Engine Management system
-dyno and professional tuning

Alone, none of these will really make a difference, but when properly mixed, it should show gains. Also, lurk around the N/A section and see what others have done.

as stated above by other NEPOC members there are pleanty of bolt-on mods you can add to your car that will increase your performance a little. look in the N/A section and there is tons of info there.....

dont waste your money, unless your going turbo your not going to keep up with anyone on the road, no offense but man my msp is pretty much stock and I straight up destroy fixed up non-turbo P5's no problem, if you dont care and you want to make your car faster anyway heres my suggestion, get a used CAI and OBX header, you can also buy a cheapo exhaust system, and a used ems. That should give you some extra power. Dude sometimes i think my msp isnt even worth fixing up, i could spend a little more money and buy an evo that will destroy most msp's and still run with a warrenty. But hell i know that i can always just forge and own an evo. Heres my biggest piece of advice though, if your going to fix up your car make sure you do it right the first time and have realistic goals and stick to them. You'll start blowing a ton of money if you decide to change what you originally wanted to do.

Well, after considering y'all's suggestions, it really does make sense.."as much as I really hope to, it's really hard to make much decent power out of my p5 going N/A...I would've boost my car, but I just bought another car so trying to keep up with the payments for now...hopefully I'll be able to save up enough money soon to boost my car, I'll keep you all updated, thanks you guys.

dude i think i saw your car over the summer. i used to work at fry's with citizenpro and i remember one day seein a silver p5 with i think silverlookin rooms. doubt you would remember. i just have a knack for remembering every protege around town. dude check out the texas section. we meet up every friday and sometimes on other days too.

p5s quick, but 83whp stock is not that great. im lookin into an AEM SRI, GReddy EVO2, and possibly a header. im not really lookin to make my car fast, i just wanna make it look good and sound good. but everyones right, boostin is pretty much the only way to get a decent amount of power outta the p5
