Performance of AWD in snow

One of my hesitations in buying our CX-7 was that I never got to test it in snow, as it came out last spring.

Now that winter is upon us (almost) and many places have had their first big snow fall, does anyone have any comments on how the AWD in their CX-7 handled things ? Unfortunately, I was away last week on our first snow fall, so I can't comment on my experience, although my wife says it handled just fine, esp as other vehicles were slipping and sliding.

Snow

Mine works great, really impressed. No more chains for me. And with the tires it came with. I got started easilly on a hill with 6" plus on the ground. As with any vehicle especially awd or 4wd, watch your cornering speed and braking. They slide just the same.
See my post on mud flaps! Best add some big ones to the front or you'll lose your paint on the bottom of doors from rocks/gravel.
