What T3/T4? Like a 50 trim with a .63 A/R? .48 A/R? I think I'll go with the 50/.48 A/R if I go T3/T4. The smaller A/R will give me that quicker spool your craving right now...
 
Making the GT28RS fit is fairly easy.

Rotate the compressor so the air outlet points up like the OEM turbo.

Modify the wastegate actuator so it won't hit the block when you install it. (on mine we just re-used the factory wastegate)

New reducer coupling to work with whatever intake you had before and you call it a day.

No other modifications necessary.

The T25 has plenty of boost, enough to blow your damn motor with out doing all the work you need to do on the internals. You people seem to think that you can just take a car and throw boost in to it and not have to work on the engine, tranny, rear end or anything.

Use your Freakin heads read read read and then reads some more. Find out what these piece of s*** motors can only do so much. 140 is the best I've done but it took so long to get there I had to shut it down. I would love to drop a 327 in to it and make it a rear wheel drive. But HEY.. Y do that if I cant make money to race it (hand)
 
Also to be noted, because of the nature of the T25 and its efficiency vs. the T28rs you can push the same boost with less risk to your engine on a t28rs.

Well because of the increased CFM that the GT28RS puts out, I'm a little hesitant to creep up over 12 psi with Disco potato. Cylinder pressures would be way too high. Don't you think?

Please Read Before Upgrading Turbo Or Boosting

Spend your money on rods and pistons. I have a friend at Mazda who is a Mazdaspeed Mechanic, already they have replaced many bent rods. They are bending to the point of breaking. Don't do a turbo upgrade without doing internals, it cost much less to do internals, than a whole motor. Mazdaspeed blocks cost $1200.00 without pistons. Cranks cost $800.00 Pistons and rods cost $1200.00 and a very long wait so far 9 weeks. The crank gurdle cost 400.00. Add it up!!! Buy pistons or at least good rods. Total cost with upgrades to total $6000.00

the problem with that is lately several people have been having some MEGA problems with ES, thier product, and customer service.
 
well, that link is busted right now.

But here is what I can tell you. That is not the GT28RS from what I can tell from your link. The GT28RS is superior to the GT28R, is also direct bolt on (save the changing of the wastegate atuator) and is internally wastegated.

And what he says about essential speed is true, I would stay away.
 
I would say yes to not getting ES stuff if you have to have the stuff shipped, I on the other hand live about 10 minutes from ES, Haven't had a problem yet and have bought alot of stuff from them, Intercooler, BOV, FMU, Exhaust, Soon GT28RS(naughty)
