Will hardpipes reduce the turkey? I thought I remembered people saying that is will reduce or eliminate the turkey. Thanks.

Yes, it will reduce and eliminate it when shifting at lower RPMs. It also leads to quicker turbo spooling.

Seeing those ones makes me wish I didn't buy the turbohoses ones. Oh well, I'm still happy with the ones I have. I just need to find time to weld on the flange for my GReddy Type S.

yea I am debating whether of not to go with the stock bpv or get the greddy type s.

If you can get a BOV flange welded on, I suggest doing that and running both a BPV and BOV. I don't think the BOV does much for performance unless you're running high booost, but it feels pretty damn good to hear that thing go off as you're zooming past a slow slow Honda.

yea he will weld a greddy flange on for 5 bucks but I am just worried about stalling and things like that. I am not really that knowledgable about cars.

if u run it dual then u just have to adjust it to not stall. only some have it just venting

You can run a hard pipe from the IC to the turbo and use the forge bov/bpv and will not have any turkey or stalling. This is the setup I am currently using and love it.

why would you say that?the dsm ones are a cheap alternative to turbohoses.his aren't alluminum,and they are made of a heavy gauge,thats why they are so cheap.

Ours are bent using the exact same $75,000 CNC machine that turbohoses uses. they ARE NOT a cheap alternative, so stop being pissy and get off your high horse. Like i said in the other thread I'll put mine up against your bling blings any day of the week. and regarding your comment in the other thread about not beign a single pipe, it has nothing to do with it being aluminum, it has to do with the fact they didnt do proper engineering when building them. Its also funny how now all of a sudden turbohoses is on here saying they're producing economical hardpipes, must suck for them to know they have no business b/c of us. If they're pipes are so much better then why are they concerning themselves with us? Gee makes you wonder huh?

Quality wise DSM and Turbohoses are the same. They both put out a great product. The difference is, that Turbohoses are made out of aluminum, not steel, so naturally they are going to cost more. There is nothing more to it. You, the buyer, should make the choice between aluminum or steel. I paid the extra $165 so I could have shiny aluminum. That doesn't mean that I'm stupid, and it doesn't mean that you are stupid if you choose steel.

and if you have noticed I never said your pipes were bad,I beleive it's about time that someone made a product like yours.something that can be afforded.

I'll be the first to admit that aftermarket product prices are much to high,so it's good to see products like yours.(2thumbs)
I'm not saying turbohoses prices are extreme,but the phrase you get what you pay for has been around for a long time for a reason.



To clear things up I DO NOT work for or represent turbo hoses opinoin in any way.Just simply have seen them R&D thier products and have used products of thiers and know how performance dedicated they are,and how much time and effort they put in to make sure it's right.they are not making MSP parts just to make money but rather heard a call for help and have gone out of thier way to help us in the areas others have turned their backs on because thier is profit to be made.

I'm probably a little late on this, but what I meant by my comment of getting these pipes is that I wanted to get something with a BOV flange welded on already. I ordered my turbohoses hardpipes the day they were available before the group buy, so I didn't have an option of having it come with a flange welded on already. Now, its a little extra work for me. Anyways, I think people that have the turbohoses pipes are going to recommend them, and people with the new DSM pipes will say theirs are the best. It all personal preference. Plus, people should be able to say their opinion. Take the high road and let them be, otherwise this will turn into another redundant flame war that gets nowhere fast.

Just ordered a turbo hoses kit with an integrated Greddy Type S BOV already installed in the pipe. There is rumor of stalling. When does this happen and how do you adjust the Greddy TypeS. Anyfeedback would be much appreciated.
