hi can anyone help me please??
I have had my mazda 6 for 6 months now, unfortunately it broke down with a problem with the dpf. The garage that I had the car towed to tried to sell me a new one for 1400, but I refused after seeing the same bit for 400 on the internet.
After buying the piece, the car is still not running, I have now been told I need a new pcm/ecu, and they are trying to charge me 2000, I have once again found it a lot cheaper but it is second hand.
After asking the garage they said that they have never fitted a second hand pcm/ecu into a car, and dont know if it will work. i had a strong suspicion that the were having me on!!
Does anyone know whether a second hand pcm/ecu can be fitted into a mazda 6.
