Been watching you guys for a while....... looking to see what owners are saying about the speed car. Just to let you know....the PCM reflash is out there, However Mazda did a real poor job letting dealers know about it, Had it been posted as a M-tip or a TSB it would have been alot easier. Have patients, its new info they may not have yet.

thanks for showing your general concern. now go back to your desk if you do have something to do inside mazda and put out a letter to the corporate big shots and tell them people want some backing from them and upgraded performance parts like Dodge is doing

yeah, i've replaced them 3 times. to no avail. mazda was said to be having a fix in october sometime.

is it a dragging noise.....like brakes or a pure clunking?

its the rear suspension, its not brakes. 200% positive. its the dreaded "clunk" since mazda went against racing beats advice and threw mostly their own setup on the back.

do you know of a rear suspension fix coming in october or u havent heard anything?

thye are also working on a rear strut noise no countermeasure part avail yet though

its a clunk over just about everything. :mad: its soo annoying. not to metion the fron suspension squeeks when cold

anyone had any trans problems???? hard shifting/grinding , unable to shift out of 3rd gear?? not really sure mazda is even doing anthing yet about the clunk, THey are asking for more info from QMD dealers

and there you have your answer. they took a not so great daily driver and turned it into a pretty badass daily driver very capable and acceptable to mods. beefed up engine would be nice if they didn't offer staged upgrades since nobody's really sure what this pussy little 4 banger is capable of.

and 95% of the people on here have the clunk. as do most of the MP3 owners. i really dislike my car and have pretty much come to accept the fact that the higherups at mazda are a bunch of douchebags just trying to save a buck and not doing what others say and recommend for something other than your stock protege.
