Picked it up 2/25. First time car buyer, had a really hard time with financing. Bank denied me, other loan places offered 9%. Mazda offered 3.9% @ 72mo. Negotiated down to $18,678, $20,442 after TTL. Added GAP making it $20,942 OTD. After 9 years of driving older cars that would break down and being forced to learn how to fix things myself, I can't even describe how nice to is to drive a new car. You really, really appreciate every single thing inside it.
2012 CWP Skyactiv i Touring 6MT Hatch
So far:
Painted tails (Krylon stained glass & 2 coats VHT Niteshades)
Plastidip emblems
5000k Neutral White LED interior, license plate light, trunk strip
DDM 35w 4300k HID Kit
3M 1080 Scotchprint interior bits, leather shiftboot
Ebay phone mount
OEM All Weather Mats
Trunk mat
22% Rear glass, 30% Sides - Solargard HP Supreme
BaysonR Window Visors
OEM bumper protector
Bunch more stuff in the works.
To do:
Quad HID retrofit
Interior accent lighting
Gloss black Oracal 970RA roof
Blackvue DR400G-HD
OEM Sliding armrest + padding & leather cover
Power folding mirrors
Hood dampers
+ more
The interior picture showing the LED lighting is underexposed, in reality the brightness is on the brighter side (takes a quick second for my eyes to adjust), and the color is exactly like the Lexus pure white interior LEDs. 6000k is too blue and looks very ricey IMO. 5000k is perfect. License plate light picture is slightly overexposed but the color is correct.
4/12
Added a small trunk organizer with a can of Honda Polish, MF rag, half roll paper towels, single trash bag, small bottle of window cleaner, bottle of Optimum Protectant Plus. Also added hooks under the rear headrest to hold grocery bags, small trashcan behind center console, rear step plate, 3M 1080 on the doorhandle trim. REI Ultralight jacket packed inside a Larue Tactical hat sitting next to this.
Going to be adding a small emergency kit consisting of a single reflective triangle, reflective vest, single flare, pair mechanix gloves, light 10 gauge jumper cables, pair of AA batteries, small bottle of H2O and 2 granola bars. Foursevens Quark 2AA XML velcro'ed upright in the armrest, 4 in 1 screwdriver in the glove. Also adding a small chapstick holder inside the ashtray (try removing one when it's horizontal in there).
Dressed all door and trunk seals with OPP as well @ 1k miles.
