pause/play button not working?

Hello everyone. Another newbie here. Awesome to be in my new 2008.5 Mazdaspeed3. I dont know if I'm mental or if my pause button isnt working on the stereo controls. Anyone else have this issue? theres a mute button on the steering wheel - that works - but to pause the track - it's not working!!! Am I missing something? thanks for your help here! - Jared

Ummmm there is no pause button. The mute button only mutes. If you want to pause the best/only way is to just turn the stereo off via the main power button.

there is! on my stereo buttons on the dash there is a play/pause button.

maybe that's a new thing on the '08.5 stereos. Any pictures?

Our pause button on 2008 is the power button.

Yep mine has one too that does nothing.

Yup I have one to but I am told from someone in another forum discussion that if is for the sirius sat only, not the cd. DUH!!

Answered my own question. So it IS a sirius sat ONLY button. In all of my years of seeing that display it has ALWAYS been play/pause. There is no pause on the stereo. This button is for what Mazda calls "instant replay" for sat. subscribers. It will replay the segment your listening to.
