My timing belt is past due and I'm going to do the waterpump while it's apart.
Is there a list of all the parts that may/should be replaced?
I've got the t. belt, factory seal FS02-10-602 and two other identical seals (no pt #). I've got to order the w. pump and will replace everything else that should be done.
Thanks in advance and a Happy and Safe Holiday season for all.

I think the water pump comes with its own seals. I guess you don't have to, but I would replace the tensioner and idler as well, just to be safe.

Oh, for forgot eggnog too.

Good luck!

Just got back from talking to the local Mazda dealer parts woman. Turns out they have a 20% off website but wouldn't give me the 20% face to face - no problem, it's about 5 min from my house. But she said there is a spring (FS01-12-711) in or on the tensioner that the techs replace but not the tensioner itself. The tensioner was BY FAR the most expensive part at $165.94 list so I'm glad that's not a part that's normally replaced. She suggested the thermostat and the valve cover gasket if it was leaking, otherwise go ahead and reuse the OE one.
I'm gonna put new belts, hoses and thermo in it and it should be good to go for a while.
BTW, it's a '01 ES with 116k and I have no idea if the original timing belt is still in there or not.
