painting my front emblem.

i want to paint my front emblem a flat black, anyone know the best procedure when it comes to what to use and how many coats.

I did it. Color matched though.

I took these steps:

Wait a bit, do it again, wait a bit, do it again, wait a bit then get some nice clearcoat. I would clearcoat the rustoleum color you choose ONLY after like 4 hours. Do the clearcoat twice and let it sit overnight.

im at school right now so cant go look, how do you get the emblem off, just pop it off??

I just got a nail under there and slowly pulled it off. comes off pretty easy.

i started to do it, but i noticed theres some sort of goo underneath, what is it?

use a heat gun...makes the goo peel right off. Then when your ready to put it back on just dab a little silicon caulk type stuff on the posts (you'll see them) and stick it back.
