could you post some pics if you got emFalango said:Do silver. My car is silver and I did mine silver and it looks awesome. It doesn't stand out like a sore thumb, but it's very clean! My mechanic looked at them when we went to work on the suspension and he asked me how I was able to keep my brakes looking so new. I said I just painted them and he thought they looked great with the car.

black- won't be that noticable
silver- won't stay clean ( i usually wash weekly) but brake dust sure can look ugly.
but i like both ideas
if i do silver maybe get some sunlight silver touch up. but i would prob need 400 of those little bottles
cilyjr said:yeah i was just kiddin about that but this does bring up some questions as to the best way to do this.
1. should i pullthem completely off? and if i do i know people say replace the pads as they never reseat as well (i have brandy new pads on). or can i just pull the wheel and paint really carefully.
2. would it better to buy new calipers that have no rust or can i just clean 'em real good with a wire brush?
3. what is the Right/best paint to use?
i have a little dremel and i like the brush on idea! thanksStriker187 said:i painted mine red and the rotor hubs black. i cleaned off everything with a dremel wire brush attachment and then put down two coats of engine primer followed by 3 coats of hi-temp paint. i actually sprayed the paint into a cup and then brushed it on with a soft paintbrush.
