I've seen a thread somewhere before where someone had done it themselves, but the difference in paint color was noticable.

I have black mica, and i think it would be difficult to match the color with a simple spray can.

well ive seen professional jobs that are different in paint color. paint matching is hard and its not harder because its black, in fact its likely MUCH easier than lighter colors.

Just go read up on painting, get a color matched rattle can and some sandpaper and go to town.
