i say paint them black and leave the 5 red.....i painted mine black on my sedan....lovin it.

also mountjonas.....if they dont mind, and of course you, can i have that familia badge?

That's what I did w/ mine. The "MAZDA" and the "Protege" are black and I left the "5" in red which looks really nice. Was gonna de-badge it but it had the holes,oh well.

I have the "MAZDA" and the flying M black on my silver p5 with a Sport20 emblem. I did them black to match the Sport20 emblem better and I love the way it looks. I'll see if I can dig up a pic, otherwise I could go down into the garage and take a picture of my salt encrusted car.

here we go.. not really an old pic but since the pic I've removed the rear bumper guard and the new hampshire sticker.

yea if i had a p5 id do that...would look bad ass...but im in a sedan

Thanks for the picture zverg, that helps me visualize it a bit. I'm thinking I'm gonna copy BrianMP5T and get the EDM 323 logo, it looks so clean on his car. And I'm like 90% sure I'm gonna paint them, the shaved rear end just makes the car look too much like a 96-99 civic hatch for some reason.

EDIT: Post 4500 bitches!

Bill I think you should paint yours black, that would look hot on your car.

Here's the 323F badge which was used on the P5 in Western Europe and parts of Asia,

And heres the 323 badge that I want to get from Eastern Europe and I think Africa.

I like the 323 badge that looks clean.

I was thinking the same thing about making my badges black. Well when it warms up, out comes the can of Trim black.

Its in the 20's right now a little too cold to paint.

Haha, yup, borrowed that picture from the thread about the 323 badges that you posted in recently. Well I think think it was recently....

The cool thing with the 323F badge is that you already have "EDM" tails - well, if you head over to Corksport, you'll see that the passenger tail has a reverse light replaced with a fog light in Europe. The dopest thing going on with my hatch is my "boltless" plate frame. I could not stand that big wart of a plastic plate bracket back there and it was one of the first things I modded.

Miller, I'm glad you started this topic. I have been wondering if I should paint mine black as well.

Yeah, you should!I'll be like my red and black theme(Now I just need black rims to finish off my exterior)!Perfect w/ your blue/black theme!Leave the "5" in red.

yeah I'm sticking to the Sport20 badge until I can decide between "323" and "323F" I thought the "F" was for the wagons IIRC. Bah I might just spray the "protege" part of my Protege5 badge black to see how that looks, I don't think I've seen a pic of that before.
