Hello,
Don't worry, it's not my M2 that I'm concerned about haha... my girlfriend has a ford focus and around the wheel well the paint has chipped off all the way to the steel. There is some redness on the steel itself but it's not like bubbly rust etc.
What's the best way to remedy this? I don't want to just cover with touch up and then it spreads like a cancer etc. I have some mcquires ultimate compound and my plan was to use that and scrub that with a scrubber and get the redness off while preserving the most amount of paint. Then I plan on just covering it with touch up paint.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks
Josh
