Paint bubbling and peeling on my car 4000 miles

Well I love my Mazda 3 and haven't had too many problems with it at all until now. Last week I noticed the car was a little dirty, even had some bird crap on the roof and hood from the day before where I parked under a tree full of birds at work, so I took it to get washed. I took it to a brushless car wash, and when I got out noticed that most of the car was very clean, but some of the bird crap haden't come off. So I took the car home and with a sponge I tried taking it off. It came off but so did the paint, right with it. Not only that I've noticed in the last few days that my paint is cracking and bubbling in all different places on my roof and my hood.

I took it to one of the Mazda dealerships, and the manager didn't even want to go out and look at my car. He told me that sounds like something fell on my car and it's not covered under warranty. The car is even starting to slightly rust in some places. What do you think my next step should be. Like I said the manager basically didn't even want to go out and look at my car. I'm very dissapointed with this. I don't know what to do next. Has anyone else had a problem like this???
thanks

judging by the response, i don't think there have been any other cases.
Do you have pictures of your paint damage?
It may have not been bird crap but some other chemical compound that may have corroded through the paint levels.

You tell the manage to get his ass out of the air conditioned dealership, and take some pictures send it to Mazda USA and have them write to you and the dealer a letter of what should be done and if it is covered or not. Remeber, you are the suctomer and you are the one that spend $ on your car not him, YOU are king and HE has only the right to do what you wish.

I left some bird crap on the hood of my ZX2 for a few days and it would not come off. It had eaten through the paint and primer. Bird crap can do a lot of damage to paint.
If possible, I'd find a different place to park.

I never park under trees and when I see soo much as a spot I clean it off right away, unfortunately windex is the only good stuff to wipe it all of properly but than go over a couple of times after with a hot wet rag over the spot you windexd so all the chemicals are gone. Sometimes on the old car, I took a s*** load of kitchen soap sometimes even cooking oil to have to take off that caked on crap. This is why you should never feed birds in the citu or litter cause you end up with s*** on your car. I actually see the situation getting better where I live.

I see your point, but what chemical compound is going to fall off a tree? Besides why would my car be the only one out of hundreds that park in that parking lot every day with this problem?? I honestly think there is some kind of paint defect here. Isn't there a paint perforation warranty on this car? I don't think it's normal for bird crap or anything that can fall off a tree to eat through paint in one day.

Take it to a body shop and ask them what they think is wrong, bad paint or something else. If they think it's the paint, then take it back to the dealer and raise hell. Actually don't raise hell, be nice.

Perforation warranty is for rust-through (metal perforation, not paint perforation).

If you're getting bubbles all over the roof, there's definitely a problem, though. Either a bad batch of paint or the metal wasn't prepped correctly or something of that nature.

Try another stealership. If nobody wants to do anything, then get an independent body shop's opinion and go straight to Mazda, being sure to mention the uncooperative nature of your local dealer.
