P5's are getting old (age wise)!

Coolant change was the last thing I did that was scheduled maintance. I am not sure what to expect next. I am thinking brakes? Not sure

no way i'm driving into DC everyday (where I work..). It costs to much to park.. public transportation is the way to go (only $3.35 a day). I do drive the heck out of him on the weekends though.. (yes)

Im gonna drive mine till it blows up... Then ill build a new motor and do it all over again. It will be driven by me until the day the body cost too much to fix. And then ill drive it into the ground for fun.
 
Wow, I posted in this thread back when I was new. Let's see, the P5 should be turning 6 this year (born 12/01). Currently at around 55k. That's about 6k happy turbo miles to boot.
 
i bought mine a year and a half ago with 71,000km on it
its got 123,000km on it now and its getting a new motor next week... if it makes it to calgary (knock, knock)
 
Orig motor rolling up on 156k, and ill be driving it tell its A) totaled B) tell it runs no more and every body part is being held on with duct tape, zipe ties nd bondo. lol
 
damn i havent even had mine a year(sept)...I dont even know how i got it cause i had no credit history and no co-signer...the damn car just grew on me, i didnt have any idea what i was getting into,then i found these forums and its been downhill from there ,lol
 
I bought the car because of this forum. I saw how passionate people where and how large, knowledgeable this community was.

i'd love to be able to take public transit each day...it would cost me like $8 and take 1-1/2 hrs...:( ....i can drive it for half the $ and it takes me 40mins (this is one way)...anyway, good for you lisa! :)

Sure, I'll post a pix. She's a garage kept car that only goes out on weekends if she's lucky. Right now she's boxed up. I'll take her out on Friday before I leave on a trip.

Bite your words when you see it too... ;-p

blah.. public transportation has its drawbacks, trust me. Stupid tourists. (bang)
 
My P5 is 5 years and 6 months old. Almost 100,000 miles. Only regular maintenance all these years. Just had major tune-up, new timing belt, brake rotors and pads. Still running strong. Will keep it for many more years.
