I just had to share this with you guys & gals.
Late Saturday night I was driving my P5 and had a sudden need for speed. So I picked up the pace and I noticed a pair of headlights trying to keep up with me. I stopped at a red light and this silver 2002 Corolla S pulled up. I knew it was an S because it had the factory wing, side skirts and front spoiler. Driving the Corolla was some young guy.
The light went green and we both took off easy but after we shifted to 2nd the Corolla punched it and accelerated ahead of me. Right then I punched it too. At first the Corolla pulled a full car length ahead of me. But I kept the pedal to the metal and my P5 soon caught up and began to pass the Corolla as I shifted to 3rd. Unfortunately, the signal ahead went red and we both had to stop. It really pissed me off 'cause there were no other cars around and the signal was just being stupid by going red for no reason. This time around, the Corolla driver revved his motor to get ready for the launch and then guess what he does? He took off before the light went green! Bastard! I watched helplessly as he sped away. I wasn't gonna run the red light! Besides, I had already beaten him so that's probably why he decided to cheat.
