P5 Springs

I was thinking of getting some springs for my Protege5 to fix the wheel gap. My plan for the car is a good daily driver, not a race or track car so emphasis on ride comfort is top of the list. Below is a list of the companies that offer springs for my car (from protege garage).

Question: Has anyone used springs from any of these companies?
1. B+G Lowering springs $199.00
2. Eibach Pro Kit $209
3. Espelir $260
4. H&R $289.95
5. Megan Racing $119.95
6. Progress Sport Springs $179.95
7. Racing Beat $195.00

Thanks to everyone for their help.

i got megans matched with illuminas. im pretty sure that of all the springs youve listed, they have the highest rates, about 3X stiffer than stock. since comfort is a high priority, i probably wouldnt recommend them as they can result in a very uncomfortable ride on lesser quality roads. as with any upgrade in springs, you will probably need to upgrade your struts as well.

since the megans have such a high spring rate, the standard hp's (blues) dont have enough dampening force to handle the megans. im running the illuminas (5 way adjustable). the hp's will work with eveything esle, but the illuminas are certainly a step up.

people may warn you about the quality of megan products. ive had mine on for more than 2 years now, about 25K miles. i have had 0 problems with them and am completely satisfied.

of the others, espelir and eibachs are the standard

Look into Vogtland springs, part number 958090. The drop is only 1.2 inches and the springs are made in Germany and are supposed to be of very good quality.
