P5 Grille Disassembly (little trim piece on top of grille)

I have a question about removing the little trim piece that is on the top part of the P5 grille. Anyone know how to? The grille on my car is missing it but I have another grille that is not missing it and I didn't want to go through the trouble of having to remove the whole bumper to remove the grille just so I could replace that little trim piece. I'd rather take the trim off the grille that is off the car and replace it on the grille that is on the car. I've attached a picture of the trim piece I'm talking about. Thanks for any suggestions!

Doesn't the whole stock grill come out by just a couple of push retainers and 2 big phillips screws on top. Don't have to take off anything just pop the hood.

^^^ That's what I was thinking...

I took off my grill to paint that strip the body color and it wasn't anything difficult. I didn't remove the bumper or scratch anything. 2-4 push button retainers and the 2 big phillips head bolts and it will pop right out.

The screws and the retainers; but also the tabs on the bumper hold the bottom. A little jerk pulling the gill upward away from the bumper and it would pop off. When replacing it would just need a tap to put it back on to those same tabs on the bumper.

thanks guys.... went home and just pulled it out. i didn't want to just start trying to pull the grille out without knowing that I could. now im confident in my grill pulling capabilities heh
