P5 freeway RPM's

Hey, I just wanted to check what RPM's all of you are at on the freeway(60mph and 80mph). At 60mph I am right at 3,000 and at 80mph I am at 4,000, the only performance mod on the car as of now is a 5Zigen exhaust. To me, this seems a bit high so I just wanted to check if this is normal, and if you couldn't tell, I haven't had this car for long =P.

thats normal, mods wont help unless you have different gear ratios

3000 is about 67 for me i believe 3200 is 70

If you put different rims and tires (or just tires) on your ride that have a larger overall diameter, your RPMs will drop slightly, but not much. Of course your speedo will be telling you the wrong speed so it won't seem like they dropped.

The tranny is geared higher. That's why I would like a 6th gas gear or a taller 5th gear.

3250 at 70 MPH for me.....

2800 at 60 MPH and around 3700 at 80 MPH.....!

the engine likes to run at those speeds.

3700 @ 80mph for me too....not sure what it is at 60, because I live near boston and you have to go 80 just to keep up with traffic ....car seems to be very happy cruising at 80.......

Same for mine too. Would love a 6th gear, the 5th has a too high ratio for no reason. Since I drive on the highway more than 90% of the time, I would save a lot of gas too.
